What are the official Ananta system requirements?
Here is the honest answer, and the reason it differs from most pages on this topic: the official Steam page for ANANTA lists CPU as "TBD" and Graphics as "TBD" under both minimum and recommended. Only the operating system is filled in: Windows 10/11 64-bit or later.
That means there is no final, publisher-signed spec sheet yet. Every detailed table you find — including the one below — traces back to the Closed Beta Test 1 build that ran January 16–20, 2026, and to store listings published ahead of it. Those numbers are useful for planning and are almost certainly close, but they describe a pre-launch build.
The CBT1 spec sheet (January 2026)
Minimum
- OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i5-9400F or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (or AMD equivalent)
- RAM: 16 GB
- Storage: SSD required
- DirectX 11
Recommended
- OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 9 9900X
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (or AMD equivalent)
- RAM: 32 GB, 8 GB VRAM
- Storage: 60 GB SSD
One inconsistency worth flagging: storage is reported as both 40 GB and 60 GB at minimum, and up to 100 GB recommended, depending on the source. That gap usually means a base install plus optional high-resolution texture data. Plan for headroom rather than the smallest number — and plan for an SSD regardless. An open-world city that streams interiors, traffic crowds and vertical layers will stutter badly on a mechanical drive no matter how much free space it has.
How to read those numbers
The recommended tier is not "what you need to play". An RTX 3080 paired with a Core i7-12700K is a high-settings, high-resolution target. The realistic middle ground looks different:
- 1080p, medium-to-high — a GTX 1660 Super, RTX 3050 or RTX 4060 with 16 GB RAM should be comfortable.
- 1440p, high — RTX 3060 Ti / 4060 Ti / 4070 class with 16–32 GB RAM.
- 4K or max settings — this is where the official recommended tier actually applies.
The 6 GB VRAM floor in the minimum spec is the part to take literally. A 3 GB or 4 GB card of the same generation is a poor match even if the model name looks similar.
Laptops: match desktop VRAM first. A 6 GB laptop GPU covers minimum 1080p; an RTX 4070 laptop or better is a safer recommended analogue than a low-power RTX 3080 laptop. Keep it plugged in and use a MUX switch or Advanced Optimus if the machine has one.
Confirmed PC features
Three things are officially confirmed and worth factoring into a build:
- DLSS 4 including Multi Frame Generation — announced by NVIDIA in September 2025. On mid-range cards this will matter more than raw spec numbers.
- Ray-traced reflections — confirmed. Ray tracing is a separate cost from the base render, so budget for it separately if you intend to enable it.
- DualSense controller support on PC — confirmed, so console controllers are a first-class option.
DirectX 11 is the published API, which keeps older hardware in play.
Console and mobile specs
PlayStation 5 needs no spec discussion — there is one hardware target. Performance modes, resolution targets and frame-rate options have not been published, and PS5 has not had a public test.
iOS and Android have no published requirements at all. No supported chipset list, no RAM floor, no storage figure, no target frame rate. This is the largest genuinely unknown area of the game's technical profile, and anyone quoting mobile requirements is guessing. To be confirmed.
FAQ
Can my PC run Ananta?
Probably, if you meet the CBT1 minimum: Windows 10/11 64-bit, a GTX 1060 6GB-class GPU, 16 GB RAM and an SSD. The final spec has not been published, so the Steam page still reads TBD.
Are the Ananta system requirements final?
No. They come from the January 2026 closed beta build. NetEase has not published final launch specs.
How much storage does Ananta need?
Reported figures vary between 40 GB and 60 GB minimum and up to 100 GB recommended, depending on the source. Expect a large install and keep free space beyond it. To be confirmed until the store page updates.
Does Ananta support DLSS?
Yes. DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation is confirmed, along with ray-traced reflections.
What are the Ananta mobile requirements?
Not published. No chipset, RAM or storage figures have been released for iOS or Android.
