Is Ananta coming to PS5?

Yes. PlayStation 5 is one of the four platforms named in the August 25, 2026 launch announcement, alongside PC, iOS and Android. There is no separate console release date — PS5 launches with everything else on January 15, 2027.

PS5 has not had a public test. The January 2026 closed beta was PC-only, so all hands-on reporting so far describes the PC build. Whether the console version hits the same frame-rate and resolution targets is to be confirmed.

Is Ananta on PC, and which launcher?

Yes, and you have two options: Steam and the official NetEase PC client. Both were named in the launch announcement, and the Steam page is already live for wishlisting with the January 15, 2027 date attached.

Picking between them is mostly about where you want your library and friends list. If cross-progression between PC and console is ever confirmed, the account you use may matter — but since cross-progression itself is unannounced, there is nothing to optimise for yet. See the PC requirements guide for hardware, and note that the Steam page still lists CPU and GPU as "TBD".

Two PC-specific features are confirmed: DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, announced by NVIDIA in September 2025, and ray-traced reflections. DualSense controller support on PC is also confirmed, which matters if you plan to play on a couch setup.

Is Ananta on mobile?

Yes. iOS and Android are confirmed launch platforms. That is notably aggressive for an open-world city game — the same build has to hold together on a phone — and it is the single biggest open question about the game's technical delivery.

No mobile requirements have been published: no supported chipsets, no RAM floor, no storage figure, no target frame rate. Nothing about how the mobile version will differ in draw distance, crowd density or resolution has been shown publicly. All of it is to be confirmed.

Is Ananta coming to Xbox?

Not announced. This is the question with the most misinformation around it, so here is the precise state of things:

• Xbox is absent from every official platform list for ANANTA.
• The game skipped the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2026, along with State of Play, Summer Game Fest and the PC Gaming Show.
• No NetEase or Naked Rain statement addresses Xbox at all.

That is not a denial. NetEase ships plenty of titles on Xbox and may add a version later. But there is currently nothing official to report, and any site listing Xbox as a confirmed ANANTA platform is wrong. Treat Xbox as to be confirmed indefinitely rather than as a delayed certainty.

A cloud version has been listed as a platform for the Chinese release. Whether a cloud option reaches other regions is unannounced.

Cross-play and cross-progression

Both are unconfirmed, and they are separate questions:

• Cross-play — playing with friends across PC, PS5 and mobile. NetEase has not confirmed this, and the game's Steam page lists it as single-player with online interactivity. See the multiplayer guide.
• Cross-progression — carrying one account and save across platforms. Also unannounced, and the more consequential of the two if you plan to switch between PC and phone.

Practical advice: pick the platform you will actually play on most and pre-register there. Do not assume progress will follow you.

Language support

The Steam listing shows 16 supported languages for interface, audio and subtitles. The official site carries separate Japanese and Korean localisations, which reflects where NetEase is concentrating its marketing — Japan in particular, given the game's anime styling and its Tokyo Game Show 2025 showing.
